I got the effects with regards to slower loading and stuff mentioned in the workaround but unfortunately it did not fix the problem. I tried the possible fix except I'm in DX9 mode so I manipulated the DX9-settings file.Still worth a look and it did tell something more about the issue which should help finding a solution.
